How we work

An engagement usually runs in this order.

1. You describe the project. A few sentences about what it should do and which problem it solves is enough. We do not need a specification — we write that together.

2. We ask questions. This is the step we skip least often. A good part of the work is understanding the existing process before proposing any solution.

3. You get an estimate. Scope, deadlines, and price, in writing. If we think you do not need what you are asking for, we will say that too.

4. We deliver in phases. You see the first usable version early, not at the end of the project. Changes along the way are normal and we plan for them.

5. Delivery, and after. You get the source code and the documentation. Maintenance and upgrades are agreed separately, as needed.

Some clients work with us through Upwork, where the platform mediates the contract and payment. Working directly is equally fine. We sign a non-disclosure agreement without further discussion.
